The learners of Bloemfontein High School are privileged to have Social Support Services at their disposal. These support services are run by Mr Mpho Chaka (Reverend) and Mrs Anika Schuhardt (Social Worker).

The aim of these services is to support the learners - emotionally, scholastically, physically and spiritually. This is done through individual intervention, as well as utilizing additional resources from the family, school and community, so that the learners have a greater chance of completing their school career successfully.

Learners are further supported to develop positive behavioural strategies for themselves in order to function within their circumstances. Attention is also given to the challenges that can harm the child's adjustment and functioning in school.
